Adsposure Transit App is a freely available public app, designed for residents of Chicago. This app helps the users locate bus stops and bus shelters within a one-mile radius from their current location for which user permission is required and if they allow it then only the shelters around their current location are shown in the Chicago city area. This makes it easy for both tourists and local users to access the public transport system.
In addition to giving the location of the nearby bust stops/shelters, the Adsposure Transit App can also be used by the public to report if a stop or shelter needs repairs or if there is offensive graffiti that needs to be taken down. The Adsposure Transit thus helps the general public by giving them a means to participate in keeping the city’s assets clean and free from vandalism.
To request for cleanup or repair of an existing bus stop/shelter, the user gets two options: “Report Damage” and “Request Cleanup”.
When the user clicks on the Report Damage button a new screen opens, from where the user can upload the photographs of the damage/graffiti.
When the user clicks on the Request Cleanup button a new screen opens, from where the user can upload the photographs of the trash that needs to be cleared and/or any other signs that prompted them to request for a cleanup.
